Position Summary
The Lead Installer is responsible for overseeing on-site installations of temporary structures, including tents, staging, flooring, and event infrastructure. This role leads a crew, ensures job site safety, and delivers quality results on time and to spec.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead installation crews on job sites across Southern California and beyond
- Read and interpret layout plans, build specs, and job scopes
- Ensure proper setup, anchoring, and safety of all structures
- Maintain strong communication with project managers and site contacts
- Delegate tasks, train team members, and monitor productivity
- Conduct quality control checks and resolve issues on-site in real-time
- Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment
Requirements
- Full-time availability with flexible scheduling, including weekends
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Able to travel to different job sites
- Must be able to lift at least 75 lbs repeatedly
- Forklift and/or equipment experience preferred
Qualifications & Experience
- 3+ years in event installation, construction, or rigging
- Experience leading crews and managing job site logistics
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards
- Ability to problem-solve and adapt quickly on-site
